National Organizations for a natural lifestyle
An international organization of mothers dedicated to providing information and support to
pregnant and breastfeeding women. Look with confidence that the books and materials we
offer have been specially selected for you because they reflect our philosophy of mothering through breastfeeding and attachment parenting.
HMN represents the growing demographic of holistic-minded parents who are questioning conventional wisdom in the areas of birthing, child-rearing, healthcare, nutrition and wellness, education, personal relationships, and our society’s views about the natural world. In the face of mounting global and environmental problems, holistic parents strive to give their children the love, support, and information they need to become informed, compassionate, and healthy children who can live in balance with their world.
ICAN’s mission is to prevent unnecessary cesareans through education, to provide support for cesarean recovery, and to promote VBAC.
API provides parents with research-based information, tools and support that affirms positive, healthy parenting, and helps parents create the kind of legacy that they can be proud to bequeath to their children: family strength, reduced conflict, feelings of love and being loved, trust and confidence. A legacy of love.
Babywearing International Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support.
The Real Diaper Association, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, provides support and education to parents all across the U.S. for the use of simple, reusable cloth diapers. The goal of the Real Diaper Association is to put more U.S. babies in cloth diapers. To do this we aim to create a cultural shift in understanding cloth diapers-their environmental impact, their ease of use, their accessibility, and their acceptability. The Association will help parents understand that cloth diapers are real diapers.
Thanks to thousands of generous donors, Miracle Diapers has proudly cloth diapered over 1,000 babies in three years! What does that translate to? We have saved over a million dollars and 500 tons of garbage! Every year we receive more than double the amount of applications than in previous years.
